The client brief for this complete renovation was to reimagine and modernise but also to weave a thread of artisanal craft and materiality that will give the flat a soul. And thus a Modern Bohemian was born.

The kitchen and bathroom surfaces are custom-made from lime stucco, the kitchen doors are hand-crafted from wood, the tiles in the bathroom & kitchen island are hand-made from different types of clay and the walls are painted in clay paint. Most of the furniture and light fittings are vintage or recycled. The result is an interior that is wonderfully unconventional and artistic by nature. Sunlight streams in from the windows and fills the rooms. The view of the park and the natural material palette all contribute to an overall sense of calm. It invites you to wonder in and sit still for awhile.
