The existing volumes of this top floor apartment were stripped bare, allowing for a complete reinvention of the spaces. The large wooden beams in the ceiling and the charming brick wall and pilars that were uncovered by the demolition inspired the design concept of “industrial glam” - looking to contrast the exposed industrial-era structural elements with glamorous modern-day detailing.
The introduction of trendy chic perfectly compliments the hip neighbourhood in which the apartment is located appealing to design-savvy buyers aspiring to live there.
The large volume of space under the high roof naturally lent itself to loft-style living. Walls were only built to create one bedroom and a bathroom while leaving the rest open and spacious.
The brick wall and pilars, concrete-tile bathroom and exposed steel aircon ducts lend an industrial look, while the beautiful herringbone-pattern floor, oak and granite kitchen, sophisticated furnishings and decorative lighting create the feeling of luxury.
